Cell Selfie on a decent "hair day"!

Weirton Home Show 2015

Hello and a virtual welcome!
My name is Kim, and the photos you see below are just a few of my loved ones...  The so-so selfies and all... they make up my family, they tell our story, just like yours do!
I love gardening - on any given morning u can see me, robe and slippers, in the yard taking photos of my roses and wildlife. A few other favorite pastimes include motorcycle rides with my hubby, painting, gardening & diy projects.
The back story...
My cousin and I began a video production company back in the late 90s,  we did everything from weddings to training videos for local mills and projects for area high school/universities.  After a decade of nursing & moonlighting with photography, I went to work as a photographer at a well known local studio, school pictures, dances - you may have even seen me on a field taking sports pictures at your kids games!   In 2020 my "no compete" contract was up!  But....
The Covid Lockdown...
I was home and decided it was now or never if I wanted to get back into photography full time.  So I started planning, and learning even more about lighting setups, Photoshop, & Lightroom, even more than my 2 decades had already taught me...and beefing up my gear!!  Ya gotta love gear!!!!  But more than gear, it's the eye to tell a story ... your story and to capture the emotions of the moment that really make a great photo.
Moving forward...
On this sight you will see some of my older photos and some of my latest.    I am open to engaging with clients to experiment in styles (I love the more lifestyle candid and airy photos that have become so popular)  But I can still shoot traditional or dramatic and even bring my "in home" studio to yours, complete with backdrops/lights... we don't need much space!  ...and yes I'm fully vaccinated, masked up and ready to shoot!
So look around the site, bring me your wish list and contact me if you would like more info...
